As the saying goes, you can’t just have one Golden Retriever. We didn’t know that when we welcomed Mia, a light-colored female Golden, into our family. She was an energetic puppy, who enjoyed exploring every bit of our 3 acres in Silverton, Oregon. When the decision was made to allow Mia to raise her first litter, we searched locally for her mate. Three hours north of us, in the small community of Silverdale, WA, the owners of Timber, a beautiful reddish colored Field Golden, were looking to re-home him. Although we had not expected to acquire a male, we could not pass up the opportunity to have Timber part of our family. He was booming with masculinity! Shorter face, great disposition, friendly character, curly hair...he had it all.

All of our goldens get daily personal time with our family, including our 4 kids.  We feel that is one of the best ways to be sure all our dogs, and their offsprings, are receptive to whoever is visiting or taking one of their pups home.
